Where to start cleaning your kitchen
Start from the ceilings, the lights fixtures, the vents and the exhausts, the window frames and the curtains. In other words, top down to prevent what you’re cleaning from spilling onto the lower sections. The same applies to the exhaust vents over the oven, as well all other ceiling fixtures.
Continue with the cupboards, the shelves and the racks, as well as all the kitchen furnishings if your dining area is a part of the kitchen.
Empty the cupboards and shelves. Take this opportunity to clean the shelves and each item individually.
Feel like rearranging the cabinets? This is the perfect time to do so!
A microfiber cloth is very useful. Just make sure to use non-abrasive cleaners and rinse the cloth very well.
Clean the kitchen sink, the sink disposal, the fridge, the oven, the stove..all the kitchen appliances. The small appliances too. Oven cleaning is one of the most difficult tasks, because it requires removing and soaking the internal parts of the oven or stove in degreaser.
Sanitize the heavily soiled areas in the kitchen, which are usually the kitchen countertop and the sink. These are the areas which see everyday use and can be some of the heaviest greasy spots. That’s why you need to pay special attention to them in order to ensure a complete elimination of all the invisible bacteria, germs, microorganisms and dirt.
